success

SUCCESS :
Success in brief is to achieve what you have set for yourself.  It is Accomplishment of one or more goals or objectives.
According to Earl Nightingale, “Success is a progressive realization of a worthy goal” To succeed you need to work towards excellence not perfection because excellence is striving for progress and is never ending continuous improvement.
Success is overcoming obstruction and needs a lot of perseverance.  As a saying goes “When the going gets tough the tough gets going”
Why is it important to succeed?
Success tends to set a newer benchmarking within you. It is more of competing with self than with others. It elevates your thinking and ability to perform each time you succeed.
Next success is an obsession. The more you win the more you like to keep winning. In a way it becomes a habit. It is not how many times we fail but how many times we bounce back when we fall and that determines our ability to succeed.
It gives a personal sense of self satisfaction. A sense of achievement as long as you keep succeeding.
There is no instant recipe for success or a ready formula. It demands your best. It demands your full, Hard work, dedication, sincerity, commitment, right attitude, character self-belief and most important a will to succeed an obsession to succeed. All these are appear seemingly simple but difficult to practice also these are required in right measures.
When we know what is required to be put in to succeed why do we fail?
The answer lies within ourself. Most often we are averse to put in our best and accept mediocrasy

how to overcome fear

Over Coming Fear:
Fear is a distressing negative response to a perceived threat it is an ability to recognize danger leading to an urge to confront it or flee from a stimuli. It is a reaction to escape or avoid a particular situation. It is a psychological reaction.  It is mostly related to future events and uncertainties, though there are many issues which may induce fear like fear of ghosts, animals, heights, speaking in public etc fear of exam and interviews are most common. Fear has an impact physically and emotionally as these are the negative impacts of fear. Like stress a certain amount of fear helps you in bringing out your best by way of additional preparation to counter the perceived stimuli and get over the risk associated but an overdose are very harmful. Please remember that just because you are afraid the situation is not dangerous. It’s your own imagination. It is imperative that we program ourselves to overcome the negative impacts. It has to be borne in mind that it was only you, who created fear.
Impacts of fear
1.      Hands shake, tend to sweat
2.      May find a temporary lack of memory
3.      Increase  palpitation
4.      Negative Change in health status
5.      A feeling of fleeing away
Let us now work on how to overcome fear
1.      Programme yourself to overcome by positive inputs to your mind.
2.      Think on the strengths you are armed with
3.      Be sure that most of the things which frighten are only preserved and many not come true at all
(You may think that the exam paper would be a difficult one but in actual it may turn out to be a very easy one)
4.      Remain Focused and believe in yourself. (Remember  It is only You who can let down yourself)
5.      Enjoy the process without giving yourself a thought on the end result ( Like” I must get  95%” )
6.      Preparation and practice ( Mental and Physical)
7.      Commitment to the assignment you have taken up for yourself
So, now it’s time to stop the continuous feedback from your sub-conscious mind which perceives fear and send inputs to your conscious mind. It’s time to inculcate self-confidence and stand up to the occasion rather than buckle up under perceived negative thoughts and mess up the situation.
Its time you pull up your socks be bold and do well. No force on earth can put you down without your own consent. I am sure you are more than competent to handle such negative forces and come out with flying colors be it the forth coming exams or any event in your life.
There are umpteen numbers of examples of people who scaled the pinnacle of glory overcoming fear; we would not have read about Neil Armstrong setting his foot on moon, Hilery scaling the mighty Himalayas, Rani Chennammav a lady taking on the sea of soldiers of the British Empire there are innumerable examples to quote. They created history. Mankind even today stands up to salute those who overcame fear to achieve and reach the pinnacle of glory.
It’s your time and your turn today. Give out your Best
WISHING YOU ALL SUCCESS…………………..

A city boy

A CITY BOY :
A city boy, Kenny, moved to the country and bought a donkey from an old farmer for $100.00. The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day.
The next day the farmer drove up and said, "Sorry son, but I have some bad news, the donkey died last night."
Kenny replied "Well then, just give me my money back.
The farmer said: "Can't do that. I went and spent it already."
Kenny said "OK then, just unload the donkey."
The farmer asked "What ya gonna do with him?"
Kenny: "I'm going to raffle him off."
(Note: To raffle is to sell a thing by lottery - draw lots - to a group of  people each paying the same amount for a ticket)
Farmer: You can't raffle off a dead donkey!
Kenny: Sure I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead.
A month later the farmer met up with Kenny and asked, "What happened  with  that dead donkey?"
Kenny: I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars a piece and made a profit of $898.00!!
Farmer: Didn't anyone complain?
Kenny: Just the guy who won. So I gave him back his two dollars.

Laughter relives boredom

Laughter relieves boredom, eases tension and brightens the atmosphere. Laughing at oneself is a good way to keep one's ego in check. Yet `serious' spiritual seekers tend to think that humour and spirituality are poles apart. This is far from the truth.
Evolved masters have a sense of humour, and they often use humour to drive home a point. Gurus like Kanchi Paramacharya, Ramana Maharshi, Swami Chinmaynanda and Swami Dayananda Saraswati sprinkled their talks liberally with humour.
Swami Chinmayananda was once scouting for a suitable venue in Chennai to hold his Geeta Gyana Yagna. Most temples, under the dominant influence of Brahmins, were reluctant to help out. Finally, one of his disciples rushed to him with the news that a Muslim was ready to make available his empty bungalow for the purpose. "But there is a problem," said the disciple, "the house is believed to be haunted." On hearing this, the Swami quipped: "What a wonderful opportunity! I've never seen a ghost in my life!"
Every morning, Ramana Maharshi would walk up the Arunachala hill. Once a stranger spotted him all alone, and wishing to have darshan, he walked faster and managed to overtake the Maharshi and stood in front of him, blocking his way. With folded palms he said "Swamiji, this is a great day for me. You have blessed me with your darshan." The Maharshi responded: "This is really funny. What darshan you're talking about? It is you who have come before me and given me your darshan."
On another occasion a group of American devotees who were seated at a distance from Maharshi because of the crowd, asked him whether they could move forward so that Maharshi's grace will be upon them. Maharshi replied that he has no objection to their moving forward but his grace was always there for everyone irrespective of proximity. The group, nonetheless, pushed forward and almost came near him. After some time the devotees requested Maharshi to place his palms on their head so that they can receive the grace in full measure. An amused Maharshi said: "next you might ask me to sign a bond and take me to court if you imagine that the grace has not worked!" The entire gathering burst into laughter.
While delivering a discourse on the Gita Swami Dayananda Saraswati narrated the following story: There were three terminally ill patients and the doctor asked them to express their last wish so that he could arrange to fulfill them. The first patient said that he would like to meet the priest and confess. The second said that he would like to meet his entire family. The doctor took care of the requests. He turned to the third patient who muttered: "I'd like to see another doctor."
A scholar approached Kanchi Paramacharya and boasted that he was an expert on the Gita. The seer asked him if he could spare some time to hold a 10-day discourse at the local temple. The scholar assented. On the first day 50 people had come to hear him and the attendance dwindled on subsequent days. The scholar said to Paramacharya: "What sort of a town is this? No one seems to be interested in the Gita. On first day there was a crowd of 50, second day 25 and on the third day there were only two persons to listen to me!"  With a twinkle in his eye the seer remarked: "Why fret? When Krishna spoke the Gita there was only one person to listen to him!
